Strategic Opportunity Assessment

SITUATION

A small cap clinical stage company wished to understand the impact their novel mode of administration (MOA) would have on switching patients from the currently available product. The goal was to assess future uptake and demand by segment as well as the most important product attributes by stakeholder to support future demand estimates.

OUR ROLE

Spinnaker conducted web-based quantitative surveys, incorporating Adaptive Choice-Based Conjoint (ACBC) modeling, with multiple stakeholders including physicians, patients, and caregivers. Spinnaker also conducted quantitative surveys with patients who had the condition but were currently not on therapy.

IMPACT

Spinnaker created an in-depth analysis as well as a “what-if” simulator the company could use to model different scenarios, interlocking all stakeholders. Data was used to inform and update the company’s forecast and investor deck, and the company presented findings at multiple large national medical conferences.
